You know what you've built.
Now let's build what's next.
Your career, navigated with intelligence.
I work with mid-career professionals at inflection points: people ready for a lateral move, a step up, or a whole new direction. Together we build a clear, honest strategy for what comes next.
About
Three things most career strategists can't offer simultaneously
I'm Aaron Graham, a career strategist and AI consultant based in Maryland. Before founding Navigato, I spent years as a plaintiff's attorney and director of legal recruiting, then built a career development practice advising hundreds of professionals annually at one of the country's leading law schools.
That background gives me something rare: a lawyer's discipline for building arguments, an insider's knowledge of what actually gets people hired, and a practitioner's daily fluency with the AI tools reshaping how we work and search.
At Navigato I work with a deliberately small number of clients at a time. That's not a limitation, it's the model. Your situation deserves a strategy built around you, not a template dressed up to look like one.
Background
JD, New York Law School. Plaintiff's law, legal recruiting, higher education career development.
AI credentials
7 certifications across Google, Coursera, UPenn, and Vanderbilt. Daily practitioner across six platforms.
Institutional work
AI governance advisory and strategic planning work at a major public research university. Task force member and subcommittee co-chair.

What working together looks like
Most of my clients come to me mid-career, with real accomplishments and a next step they can see but can't quite reach. That's exactly the work I'm built for.

Approach
How I work
Strategy without honest assessment is just optimism. I'll tell you what's working, what isn't, and what it's actually going to take to get where you're going.
Understand the full picture
We start with where you are, what you've built, and what you actually want. Not what sounds good on paper.
Build a real strategy
Not a checklist. A specific plan grounded in your background, your market, and your timeline.
Give you tools that last
You leave with more than a resume. You leave knowing how to tell your story and navigate what comes next.
On AI in the work
AI tools are part of how I work every day, not a feature I added to sound current. That means your engagement benefits from AI-assisted research, drafting, and analysis, with a human practitioner reviewing and taking responsibility for everything.
It also means I can help you use these tools yourself, whether you want to run a smarter job search or understand what AI adoption actually means for your organization.
